About the Event
Pack 23 is heading to Battleship Cove in Fall River, Massachusetts, for an unforgettable overnight adventure aboard the USS Massachusetts! Scouts and families will get the unique opportunity to experience life aboard a historic Navy battleship and discover what it was like to be a sailor during World War II.
During Battleship Cove’s Nautical Nights program, we’ll explore the historic ships, participate in educational activities, and spend the evening surrounded by incredible naval history. When it’s time for lights out, Scouts and families will sleep aboard the USS Massachusetts in the original enlisted barracks on authentic sailors’ bunks!
After breakfast the next morning, the adventure continues with more time to explore Battleship Cove and its historic vessels, including the USS Massachusetts, destroyer USS Joseph P. Kennedy Jr., submarine USS Lionfish, and PT boats.
